Fernanda Andrade
plays the part of Marisol, the Cuban-American teenager.

Fernanda is represented by the Alliance Talent Group. Her prior roles include the part of Paloma in the HBO film For Love or Country, the lead role of Katy in the Optima Films production Madame Le Consul "Double Play", the role of Co-Host for Discovery Kids Latin America's show A Grande Aventura and the part of Helen Keller in the St. Thomas Aquinas staging of The Miracle Worker.

Sarahi Diaz
plays the part of Odalis, Marisol's young Cuban cousin.

Sarahi is represented by The Green Agency. Her prior roles include the part of Sharllot Rivera in the Big Machine Films production Faithful, the principal role of Tia Maria in the independent film Tia Maria, the role of Canicula Casiopea in the Latino Ensemble Production's staging of the play Piña, mamey y zapote, the role of Hostess for Wasel & Company's TV show El Buzz and Guest Host for Univision's TV show Caliente.
Carmen Lopez
plays the part of Marta, Marisol's mother.

Carmen's prior roles include the part of Rita in director Jim McKay's film Our Song, Head nurse in the 20th Century Fox production Blood & Wine, Lourdes in the Miramax production Curdled, Gloria Manquez on the TV show Law and Order, Bochinchera Jimenez in the play El Macho and, in her own stand-up routines, she plays The Stewardess from Hell and The Dancing Dominatrix, which she has performed at The Improv and The Comedy Time Bomb.
Lydia Montes
plays the part of Abuelita, Marisol's grandmother.

Lydia worked for more than 30 years in Cuba in leading roles in classical theatre, soap operas and TV series. Her recent work, here in the U.S., has included leading roles in several Repertorio Español Theatre plays, Real Women Have Curves and Bodas de Sangre, the main character on several Pollo Tropical commercials and the part of Mrs. Diego on the soap opera One Life to Live.
Severino Puente
plays the part of Tito, Marisol's grandfather.

Severino worked for more than 30 years in Cuba in leading roles in classical theatre, soap operas and TV series and also worked as a director, announcer and script writer as well. His recent work, here in the U.S., has included commercials and voice-overs (AT&T, Penzoil, McDonald's, Ovaltine, etc.) and radio announcing and acting (Radio Suave, WRHC Cadena Azul).
Memo Alvarez
plays the part of Daniel, Marisol's teenage brother.

Memo's prior roles include the part of Alfonso in the BBC production S Club 7, the principal role of Ricky in Director John Angee's The Magician and the lead role of Jesus Christ in the play Viens Suis Moi - Naissance de Jesus. Memo has also written and directed a play (A Christmas Extravaganza), choreographed dance pieces (Billie Role and His Music), and worked as a sound recordist, theatre AD, and dancer (modern, jazz, Caribbean, African, Rock 'n' Roll.)
Andrea Proenza
plays the part of Jessica, Marisol's best friend.

Andrea's prior roles include the lead role of Portia in Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice as well as a variety of other roles in various Whittman Theatre productions. She has also served as stage manager, director and producer for several plays.
Ileana Aguilera
plays the part of the Newscaster.

Ileana's prior roles include the lead role of Mona in the short film Times Up, the role of Becca in the short film Special Sauce and various roles in Creative Workshops and FIU theatre productions.
Martin Amado
plays the part of the On-location News Reporter.

Martin is the co-star of the feature film Libertad by 3-time Emmy Award-winning director, Norton Rodriguez. His other roles include the part of Host for SunTown Production's Buenos Viajes, radio spots for Hyundai and Bell Atlantic, MediaOne Channel 13's entertainment reporter for Noticiero Miavisión, CBS Telenoticias' correspondent for Más Vida as well as many other parts on other TV shows, news programs, commercials, print ads and radio spots. Cuban rafter: Gloria Yacosa

Gloria is an actor, singer, and lyricist currently living in Los Angeles. She has played bit roles on General Hospital. Her songwriting credits include work for Tomey Sellars (Miami finalist in VH-1's Born to Diva ), Diego Goldfarb, Georg Van Handel, and Dominic Messinger.
Cuban rafter: Michele Ockenfels Lepe

Michele is one of the stars of a new Telemundo soap opera called Los Teens. She has been a Guest Reporter on Univision's Control, played the part of June in a staging of The Man Who Came to Dinner and the part of Ismene in a Jump Start Theatre production of Antigone.
